Some friends were enjoying a beach day, and they set up chairs and an umbrella on the beach near their house. As the beach wasn't very busy and home was close by, they would often leave the chairs unattended so that they could go for lunch and come back.
However, when they did this recently, they returned to their chairs to find a family had sat in their spot and were taking drinks from their cooler. They got hostile when confronted and told them to call the police. One of the friends complied, and while they got their chairs back, neither the family nor the other friends were happy.

Am I wrong for calling the cops on a family that was using the chairs and umbrellas I left on the beach?
